Love is always being given where it is not required.

Love is always given where it is not required.... I saw this quote today and Blake immediatly entered my mind.

So I'll take a second to brag about this man who walked into my life and changed my whole world.
This man at 22 years old took on responsibility that I at 31 struggle with daily! He walked into my life, Showed me more love than I knew existed. He gave up a job pipe-lining to come home and start a family with me. He over night became a Step-Dad and a husband. He went from being a single man who spent his time at the river doing GUY THINGS to living with three girls.  Fishing trips and fight nights on t.v quickly turned to little girls softball games and i-carly. His three bedroom house is now filled to the gill with more pink than he probably ever wanted to see. Instead of a pizza box in his lap while he's watching T.V. he usually has two kids fighting over who gets his lap first.  He takes one on one time with them Of course Taryn's time is on the ball field while Em slips in trips to the Mall with him. It's not unusual to see him playing catch with the girls or helping them pick out the outfit they are going to wear that night. And some how this amazing man always finds time to spoil me just a bit.
He is full of suprises, from showing up at work just to give me a hug on his way home to suprising me with pedicures, new shoes, or a necklace for no reason.  But yesterday he completely made me fall in love with him all over again. As I unlocked the back door I noticed a note taped there. I opened the note to read why he loves me which led me to our bedroom where another note was on the bed which read how much I meant to him that note sent me to another room where I would find a note that left me feeling more special than ever before that one led me to the living room where he was standing with another note. I read more about our life together and the next thing I had to do was close my eyes. He then put a jewlery box in my hand which had a beautiful pair of earrings in it.  There was no reason behind this. He always knows just what to do to show me how much he loves me of course the special things he gets me I absolutely love. But the man who I come home to every day is the real gift. He makes me want to be a better person, he lets me know it's ok to love deeper and I have no fear of giving him my heart and knowing that I am completely safe in his care.

I love you Blake. Thank you for changing my world.

That sweet baby played hard all day and went home worn out!  Blake played a double header Sunday and they won both games. He played really well and of course I love spending the day at the field. And as you can see from the pictures the girls made the road trip home fun!

when I saw this picture my first thought was what a beautiful storm....
We are going through so much right now with moving, we have found out every single day that that we have another problem. We had to do a new well pump and water system, new septic, new steps and hand rails, our air went out during the move. ect. ect. ect... But we are well fed, we have good jobs, loving families two beautiful lil girls, We have each other and most of all we serve an Amazing God. Sometimes things fall apart so we can fall together.  Sometimes God wants us to lean on him. And today that finally hit me so I'm here to praise him in this storm....

:)

Idle hands are a Devil's workshop..... Well the Lord is making sure I'm no playground for the devil!  Our busy little life just got busier. We rescued a tiny chihuahua (Misty) who is like a baby to us. The girls LOVE her and she doesn't let Blake out of her sight, she even sleeps between us!  But on top of our new baby Blake is now playing ball for the Bossier City White Sox!!! He plays out of town once a weekend and we have at least two games a week with the girls. So now we average 3-4 ball games a week.  I never knew I would be so involved in baseball, but it's so exciting to watch. Blake is catching as are both girls. So between the three of them we will end up with a variety of catchers mitts, and gear, baseball uniforms from a little girls XS to a men's MED and of course Hot pink, purple and now a Black helmet! I have a shirt to wear in support of all three teams ranging from hot pink and Neon Green for Taryn's "Lil Maters",  Purple and Lime Green for Em's"Screaming Divas" to  black and white for the "Bossier City White Sox". I'm so proud of my sweet girls, and I'm more in love with Blake every day. Thank you God for all my blessings!!

Time flies when you are having fun! Just an update.... the girls are still in full swing with softball.  We average two games a week and three practices, our weeks seem to fly by. I feel like we work and play ball but we would not have it any other way. Emily got moved to first base and is loving it and Taryn is catching behind the plate now. Blake is still the cutest pitcher in the league ;) and I'm still their biggest cheerleader!

Besides basball we are in the process of living our first dream of moving to our land the over looks some beautiful hay meadows. We have re- aquired "Agenda" our palamino mare. She is now Blakes baby, I still have Daisy my bay mare and we are looking forward to purchasing one more horse so we can have family trail rides. Im so looking forward to our move where we will have a pond within 200 yards of the house so we can spend lazy afternoons fishing. Of course Paw will have to re route  his way home since the girls have figured out we are not far from the plant. They will see Grey and KK school everyday and Nonnie and Grumpy will be our neighbors.  Finally things are falling into place and our lives are coming together beautifully.  God has provided for our needs and even some of our wants. Im more thankful with each passing day that this life he has given me fills our hearts with such happiness. I cannnot wait to see what our future holds for us. Until next time......

Just a glimpse in to my life....

Well Spring is in full swing,  It's time for Baseball, fishing, sunshine and family fun!( Oh and lets not forget the living room boxing matches) Ha ha
This year I have gained happiness, a husband whom I adore and his wonderful family. I love, love ,love spending time with them. This past weekend my mother n law and I got a pedicure while Blake was home firing up the grill!  After a great dinner I was able to squeeze in some cuddle time with my favorite man and my favorite movie. Life seems more enjoyable to me every day. I'm learning to stop rushing and take in all the little things I once took for granted. I'm blessed to have such a loving, hardworking husband with a wonderful family. So I've added some pictures just to give you a look into life through my eyes.....

Where did the time go?

Seems like yesterday Em was in my arms and today this beautiful little girl is 11 years old.  Full of life my pre- teen, sassy, green eyed girl is growing up way too fast. I try to remember rocking her to sleep and the nights of walking the floor due to colic. These memories seem so far away. I remember when water was "wawa" our tooth brush was a "lala" and Mommy could make anything better. It's hard to think that I went from Mommy, to Momma to Mom, and there is very little I can make all better on some day's. But if there is one thing I have learned its to enjoy them now at what ever age they are. I don't whish them younger or older b/c this very stage in their life goes by way too fast. I take every hug I can sneak them when her friends are not looking and try to visit in between her text and phone calls. She's a great big sister, daughter, grandaughter and freind. I'm proud of my Birthday girl! I hope she makes better decesions than I have, that she thinks before she speaks, prays before she acts and that she grows up to be as happy and blessed as her "Mom" is.
